Cured products using LCE-2615 exhibit extremely high toughness.  Cured LCE-2615 samples pass the 3-point bending test / SS curve without breaking (even after the yield point), whereas ordinary epoxy resins break before reaching their yield point.  In addition, LCE-2615 samples return to a state close to their original shape.  It can be observed from the slope of the initial rise in the SS curve that the cured product of LCE-2615 has the same elastic modulus as that of ordinary epoxy resin. LCE-2615 is a material that is both hard and tough.
