Nippon Kayaku is conducting joint research with iPEACE223 Inc. aimed at commercializing the ETP (Ethanol-to-Propylene) process, which produces propylene from bioethanol.

Through this initiative, we are working toward the realization of drop-in green propylene that can be integrated into existing production facilities and processes without major modifications. By establishing a manufacturing technology capable of providing a stable and cost-effective supply, Nippon Kayaku aims to contribute to the decarbonization of chemical products, including acrylic acid and polypropylene.
